Growing up with a father in the luxury fashion industry, I have always been beyond obsessed by the who, what, where of fashion and often dreamt of living in the Vogue fashion closet. I would sit down with my dad and listen to him go on for hours about the finest cashmere in the world and how "su misura" is the only way to go.
We would catch-up over Sunday morning brunch and dad would teach me about Gianni Versace's art, Giorgio Armani's impeccable hand stitching, his admiration of Nino Cerruti's perfectly tailored suits and Valentino's famous red dresses.
I later went on to study Liberal Arts. Law school came next, I did the big girl thing and made a safe decision. Several boring courses later, I embraced my inner geek chic and rediscovered my passion for fashion in my intellectual property classes. That's when I realized that this law school thing wasn't such a bad gig!
Fast forward a few years and I have now found my niche working on fashion files on a daily basis. Life is good!
